Radio System FAQ
I want to trigger my high rates to only be active when I am above a certain engine RPM on my heli. I can use stick position to trigger on the positive side, but on the negative side it doesn't recognize that the engine is actually 'revved up'. How can I make this work?
The simplest way would be to use an additional dual rate which is active only below a certain throttle stick. This dual rate would be only in your idle up condition.
Another way would be to do a channel to channel mix which is active only below a throttle stick and which is set up only in the idle up condition.
The third would be to set up a condition which is activated below half stick and which takes the place of your idle up condition when below that stick point. This would be QUITE complex and time consuming to set up and maintain, so unless there are other reasons to do this, we don't recommend it.
