Radio System FAQ
I am trying to set up a flap-to-elevator mix. Can you please help?
Absolutely! We are going to do a programmable mix from flap to elevator, set the % for each side of the flap dial, and assign a switch to turn this mix on and off.
- Open the advanced menu (bottom left and center)
- Arrow up to PMIX1 (or the first mix you aren't using)
- Press the + key so instead of INH blinking ON blinks
- Arrow over (top center)
- Press + 5 times if in PMX 1 (or the # needed tomake FLP blink)
- Arrow over
- Press + until ELE blinks
- Arrow over
- Now 0% 0% is showing with one of them blinking
- Turn your flap knob all the way counter clockwise. The left 0 should be blinking. Adjust this # to the amount of flap to elevator mix you want when the flap knob is turned to that side.
- Turn the knob all the way clockwise so the right 0 is blinking. Adjust this # like the first.
- Arrow over
- Leave link OFF unless you are using twin elevator servos, in which case turn link on
- Arrow over
- Leave offset at 0
- Arrow over
- If you want this mix to only operate on a switch, decide which switch and in which position. For example I am picking swich C down. If you do not want to be able to turn the mix off, set the switch position to NULL. Then the mix is always on. EXAMPLE:
- Press+ key until SW C blinks
- Arrow over
- Press + key until DWN blinks
Notice how now when you move that switch this mix turns on and off.
