Radio System FAQ

How do I completely turn off the channel 5 switch or channel 6 knob so that when I do a mix using one of these channels the switch or knob doesn't affect it?

Elevator/Dual Rate Switch will be in the down position when this is in use.

1.Go into PMIX 1. Master will be on channel 6 (or ch 5), and the Slave will be on channel 6 (or ch 5).
a.Turn channel 6 knob all the way left (or channel 5 switch up). Put in -100% (now the ch 6 servo does not move when the knob is turned from center to the left or ch 5 switch is up.)
b.Turn channel 6 knob all the way right (or channel 5 switch down). Put in -100% (now the ch 6 servo does not move when the knob it turned from center to the right or channel 5 switch is down.)

IF USING FLAPERONS, you need to also do this mix:
2.Go into PMIX 2. Master will be on channel 6, and the Slave will be on channel 1.
a.Turn channel 6 knob all the way left. Put in +100% (now the ch 1 servo does not move)
b.Turn channel 6 knob all the way right. Put in -0% (note this MUST match the % set in the mix above)

This allows the channel 6 knob to turn right and move the flaps down. Turning the knob left past center will now do nothing (it is disabled from moving left).

CAUTION! Your Pmixes are turned ON by your elevator dual rate switch. Therefore, for your flap knob mixes you just made to be active, you must have your elevator dual rate switch on at all times. REMEMBER THIS or you may be surprised by not having enough elevator response in flight, or having your flaps suddenly set to a strange setting because you moved the elevator dual rate switch in flight.
