Find The Perfect Radio:

Radio System FAQ

I want to be able to drop a set amount of flaps or elevators or both for certain flight conditions (such as launching a glider). Can my 6X do this?

Absolutely! This is exactly what the airbrake function is designed for.

Go to ABRK.
Cursor over until INH is blinking.
Press - to go from INH to off.
Move the airbrake switch. Now the airbrake mixing is active and turned on.
Notice it has a preset amount of channel 2 and channel 6 in it.

Is it not the amount you want?
Cursor over 1 time and you're at the % for the channel 2(elevator) portion of airbrake. Adjust as desired with the + or - keys.
Cursor again and you're at the % setting for the channel 6 (flap) portion of airbrake. Adjust as desired with the + or - keys.

Note: you can turn either of these down to 0 if you want no reaction from channel 6 or channel 2.
