Radio System FAQ
We have a very short runway at our field, how do I set my plane up to cut down on landing distance?
To utilize the stopping feature of the spoilerons, set up the airbrake function but instead of deflecting the flaps downward, make them deflect upward. Also give yourself a little up elevator in the airbrake to push the nose downward on the runway. When the airbrake switch is thrown, the spoilerons will activate and the elevator will push the nose down. This will slow your plane very quickly for those short runway situations.
