I want to setup a four engine plane such that I can start all engines and then put 3 engines on hold while I run-up and tune the first. Then do each engine as the first. I see the screen but I don't understand how to do what I've described. Some help please?

This can be done by creating three Pmixes in each of Four Conditions. Here are the steps used to do this:

Create four conditions in the model other than the Normal (Condition 1) which are not touched as this has the normal settings for all four engines. Name the Conditions, Throttle 1, Throttle 2, Throttle 3 and Throttle 4.

Next go to the function screen, and set all 4 engines there. Then set the Trims to all engines to different Sliders. This way you can trim each one individually.

Now, create first condition Throttle 1, next go to Switch Setting screen and assign this to SW-C in the Center position. Create the second condition as Throttle 2 and set this to SW-C in the Down position. Condition Three is set as Throttle 3 and set to SW-D in the Center position, and the Fourth Condition is set as Throttle 4 and set to SW-D in the Down position. Then set the Rates for Low throttle on these conditions to 90% so that when the engines are switched to the "no response" they are not completely off, but in a low idle. If you prefer and want yours to be shut completely down, do not do this step.

Now, leaving all switches back you have normal throttle operation on all four engines. To create the settings you want, you will now put Switch C in the Center positions and do one Pmix, selecting SNGL (meaning this will operate only in this condition) with Throttle2 as Master to Throttle2 as Slave, at -100% each way, a second mix, SNGL, Throttle 3 as Master to Throttle 3 as slave, and a third mix, SNGL, Throttle 4 as Master to Throttle 4 as slave. There is no need to assign this mix to a switch as this is controlled by the Condition switch.

Next, go into place your Switch C in the Down position, and repeat these mixes but this time it will be MIX 1: Throttle to Throttle, MIX 2: Throttle 2 to Throttle 2, and MIX 3: Throttle 4 to Throttle 4. at -100% each way.

Repeat this with your next Condition which is Throttle 3 ( Switch D in the Center Position). Making this SNGL, with Throttle 3 to Throttle 3, Throttle 4 to Throttle 4, and Throttle to Throttle at -100% each way.

The last mix will be in your Condition named Throttle 4 (Switch D in the Down Position). Make this SNGL, with Throttle 2 as Master and Throttle 2 as Slave, Throttle 3 to Throttle 3 and Throttle to Throttle again at -100% each way.

What you will end up with is:

Switch C and D up: normal action
Switch C center: Engine One only is on
Switch C down: Engine Two only is on
Switch D center: Engine Three only is on
Switch D down: Engine Four only is on
