Is it possible to utilize the updates for the 14MZ in a 12Z transmitter?

While the 14MZ and the 12Z do share some of the same root files, it is not advisable to utilize the same update for both systems as not all files are compatible.

In order to maximize performance of the 12Z, Futaba creates updates that are specifically applicable to the 12Z. Please ensure that these are the updates which you are installing prior to doing so. If you own a 14MZ and a 12Z, we suggest that you create separate folders (e.g., 12Z Updates, 14MZ Updates) on your PC to store the updates. Additionally, if sharing the same CF card for the updates, we suggest that you eliminate the files from the card immediately after updating the respective transmitter.
